These terms apply when you download or play Wildlife Rescue ("the game"), published by Thumb Fort (Pty) Ltd ("we"). By playing, you agree to them. If you get the game from Google Play, Google's own terms also apply to the download and to any payments.
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and play the game on Android devices you own or control, for your own entertainment. The game, including its artwork, animals, boards and code, belongs to Thumb Fort and its licensors — the licence lets you play it, not copy, resell, or redistribute it.
In-game currency (such as mice), animals, tiles and other virtual items are part of the game, not property with real-world value. They:
Adverts and purchases. The game is free to play and shows adverts between boards, as described in the privacy policy. Two kinds of optional purchase are offered, both made through Google Play: Remove ads, a one-off purchase that switches those between-board adverts off permanently on any device signed in to the Google account that bought it (the optional watch-an-advert-for-a-hint offer remains available by choice); and mice packs, which add a fixed amount of the game's in-game currency to your save on the device you buy on. Mice packs are consumed when credited: they are not restored to a new device once spent, and the mice they add follow the rules above (spendable only in the game, at most one bought copy per animal, never exchangeable for hints or for money). Payment and refunds are handled by Google Play under Google Play's refund policy, plus any rights your local law gives you that cannot be waived.
Please don't tamper with the game's save data or code to gain unfair advantage in any future competitive or shared feature, and don't use the game for anything unlawful. The current game is single-player, and your save is yours — but we may decline support for problems caused by edited saves.
Your progress is stored on your device and in backups you control, as described in the privacy policy. We don't hold a copy and cannot recover progress that has no backup, so we encourage using the in-game export or your device's own backup.
The game is under active development: features, boards, animals and balance will change over time, and content may be added or retired. If these terms change materially, the effective date above changes and the new terms apply from your next update of the game.
The game is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, to the extent your local law allows. To the same extent, our liability for any loss arising from the game is limited to the amount you paid us for it in the last twelve months (for a free game with no purchases, that is zero). Nothing in these terms limits rights that your local consumer law does not allow to be limited.
You can stop using the game at any time by uninstalling it. We may end this licence if you materially breach these terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of South Africa, without affecting any mandatory consumer protections of the country you live in.
